About Us

Shortly after launching, Van Plan’s reputation saw it quickly grow and today it employs six staff and operates a fleet of vans covering Hertfordshire, London, North West London, Essex and surrounding areas. Headquartered with its own premises and storage facility in Watford & Kings Langley- Van Plan is well centred and has great access to transport links to serve clients from far and wide.

With plans to be able to service more customers in 2021, Van Plan is uniquely positioned to respond to an increasing number of home movers in the market whilst also expanding to cover commercial removals.

So far Van plan has completed over 200 successful moves and continues to grow daily.

So much more than a removals company.

“That’s what drives me to make this successful”. Speaking openly about where his passion for Van Plan comes from Greg explained, “some people might look at removals as quite a transactional purchase but it’s so much more personal than that. Whatever stage of their lives our customers are at they are entrusting us with so much more than ‘boxes of stuff’ - we move their memories”.

Giving insight to the unique perspective he has of his customers, their families and lives - “of course, we’ll take the stress out of the removal and handle everything but a house move is such a big moment and you’ll often see the whole family involved and hear stories about different things you’re handling”.

Many of Van Plan’s customers are referrals from other customers. “Yeah a lot of our business comes from word of mouth but quite often within the same family. It’s funny; one child is moving out to their own place and another child is off to university. Then the grandparent might be downsizing so we end up meeting everyone”.

It’s the journey not just the destination.

Van Plan is clearly building a business to stand the test of time. “Absolutely, I’m looking forward to seeing customers again in 5, 10, 20 years time whatever it may be as their lives evolve and we’ll be there to support them in key moments on their journeys”.
